Scripture Sunday: Healing Psalms

Psalms 107:19-21

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
And He saved them out of their distresses.
He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

When we are hurt physically, emotionally, or spiritually/mentally, it’s tempting to give in to the bottomless pit of despair.

It’s normal to mourn the loss of a job, a loved one, or hope but don’t let it become permanent. Whatever you might be suffering from, mourn your loss and begin your quest in conquering your despair.

When things get tough, remember that the Lord can help you if you just ask. Psalm 107:19 tells us to simply pray to Him for forgiveness and love; ask and you shall receive even if we’ve caused our own suffering He will always be with you. The Lord’s forgiveness and patience are boundless.

Open your heart and be honest with God and yourself and start a conversation with Him.
