How to Remember Things

Did I forget something?

Where did I put my keys?

What was his name?

If you’re like me I experience brain fog every day at the most inconvenient times. Sometimes I joke to my friends that my spirit animal is a goldfish.

Forgetfulness made learning difficult and frustrating for me throughout my formative schooling and I couldn’t understand why I would blank out during tests. I wasn’t nervous and never had test anxiety and I usually had a good diet and was well-rested.

I eventually gave up trying to memorize the formulas for math tests and I accepted it as fact that I was a forgetful person.

Do you struggle with remembering and learning things? I have good news for you.

There’s a free and easy solution but it requires practice like anything else.

I learned this technique from a podcast called Kwik Brain with Jim Kwik and in this episode, he walks you through his exercise.

If you don’t know about Jim Kwik, he is a learning coach who has helped many Hollywood actors memorize their lines.

I’ve tried his technique and it worked to my surprise. I was a bit skeptical because I thought it was another one of those feel-good gimmicks but I followed along during this podcast and now I use it often.

Give it a try and good luck!
