I’m currently stuck at a Costco gas station waiting for AAA. My ten year old Cadillac won’t start. Thankfully a kind gentleman asked if I needed help to jump start the battery. Luckily I have cables in my trunk but it still won’t start. There wasn’t much else the gentleman could do but I sincerely thanked him for going out of his way to help me.
There’s a lesson we can all learn from this kind man.
Despite what the media wants us to believe, most people aren’t terrible and narcissistic.
If you see someone in need ask if they need help. Avoid the by-stander effect.
This is a reminder to give help when we can and if you’re ever stuck in a situation don’t be afraid to ask for help.
